Homemade Peanut Butter Granola

This homemade peanut butter granola is very easy and quick to make. It provides some protein and fats to your day while using natural sugars. It has a great peanut butter flavor with a touch of sweetness and a slight crunch. If you follow a gluten free diet, swap out the oats for certified gluten free oats.
Ingredients
- oats
- peanut butter
- maple syrup
- coconut sugar
- coconut oil
- salt
How to make granola
- Combine all ingredients but oats in a medium saucepan. Melt for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in oats.
- Place on parchment lined baking sheet
- Bake

Peanut Butter Granola

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups oats old fashioned
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium saucepan.
- Melt over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from the heat and stir in oats, 1 cup at a time.
- Stir until thoroughly mixed.
- Place on a parchment lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes, turning over after 10 minutes.
- Let cool on baking sheet and place in a container or jar.
Notes
Recipe yield is roughly 4 cups. Store in airtight jar or container to ensure freshness.
If possible, use a natural peanut butter or one without added sugars.
